CarSpotter does all it can to ensure that the information it sends is reliable. Please be aware that CarSpotter cannot keep track of options and accessories added after purchase, or of the effect they will have on a car’s value. Options can be calculated into the new-car value, but it may not be clear exactly which options were added. CarSpotter determines the value on information from the importers/car manufacturers. Any incorrect or incomplete information provided by the importers/car manufacturers can lead to incorrect results. CarSpotter cannot value imports, low-volume vehicles, cars manufactured before 1992 or those under 6 months old, motorbikes or vans commercial vehicles.

Registrations
CarSpotter works only in Great Britain and only for British registrations.

Value
The current value that CarSpotter sends is based on market valuations. In this way, it can provide a good indication of the true value. However, the true value will ultimately depend on options and accessories, any possible damage to the car, the actual mileage, the location of the person selling it, and the vehicle you are offering in trade. So, don’t use CarSpotter alone as the basis for your decision to buy or sell a car. Get a broader view of things.

Liability
CarSpotter cannot be held liable for:
• the information you receive and the decisions you make based on it;
• the reception of no information, or the reception of incorrect information, resulting from hardware, software or network malfunction;
• the reception of no information, or the reception of incorrect information, resulting from an incorrect or incomplete text message from the customer.

Privacy
CarSpotter records your mobile number to provide you with the information you have requested and to charge you for the service through your mobile provider. CarSpotter does all it can to ensure that the information it sends is reliable and has put a wide variety of security measures in place to prevent the loss, illegal use, or alteration of the information the customer receives.

Website
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Additional text messages
It is possible that CarSpotter will send you an additional, commercial, message other than the one you requested. This message is free of charge and comes from CarSpotter.  CarSpotter uses the additional free text messages  exclusively for information and products related to CarSpotter. We do not sell mobile numbers to other parties. CarSpotter is not a subscription service. If you do not wish to receive these commercial messages, please send an email to customerservice@carspotter.co.uk  listing your mobile phone number. By submitting a [STOP] command to 86007 users will also be removed from any lists CarSpotter holds to market to them and consequently they will not receive free additional messages.
