How does it work?

For what kind of vehicles does it work?
CarSpotter works for just about any car and light commercial vehicle (up to 3.5
tonnes) registration number including private plates.In some cases however a valuation is not possible. CarSpotter cannot value imports, low-volume vehicles, cars
manufactured before 1992 or those under 6 months old, motorbikes or vans

What kind of information will I receive?
You will receive one text message with the vehicle’s model and value and another one
describing its performance. See also: This is what you get

What about privacy?
CarSpotter does not send any personal information.

What does CarSpotter do with my mobile number?
CarSpotter uses your mobile number to provide you with the information you request
and to charge you for the service through your mobile provider. You may also receive
an additional, commercial text message. There will be no charge for this. See also
"Additional text messages" on the disclaimer-page.

How much does it cost?
CarSpotter costs £1.50 for each message you receive. For every registration number
you text to 86007, you receive a maximum of two text messages. Maximum total cost
£3.00, plus the charge for the use of your mobile phone.

Is CarSpotter a subscription service?
No, CarSpotter is not a subscription service.

What about age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions lined out for CarSpotter. However, you must have bill
payers’ permission.
